Who is

The Conference Photographer was set up and is run by Martyn Hicks Photography. Martyn has photographed conferences all over the world and has always focused on delivering the best possible imagery from your conferences. He works on a regular basis with a number of high level conferences and events. He has worked with a great diversity of clients including ITV, One Young World, Google, Twitter and eBay.

Where do you Photograph Conferences?

As we are UK based, our focus is to deliver conference photography at all the major Conference Centres around the UK. So our main Centres are London, Manchester, Birmingham, Liverpool and Leeds.

Do you work Internationally?

Yes, we work with a number of clients to deliver International Conference Photography. Our work has taken us to South Africa, USA, Canada, Bangkok, Bogata, Dublin, Zurich and a number of other great venues and destinations.

Can you arrange more than one photographer?

Yes, we have built up a small team of selected and trusted photographers over the years. We can arrange multiple photographers for bigger events along with a photo editor is that is needed and within the budget

Will you be smartly dressed?

Yes, this is something that is very important to us. We only work with people that we trust to deliver great images and also to look smart and behave accordingly. We aim to be discrete and not draw attention to ourselves at you event.

What are your rates?

We like to keep things simple so we have three rates to choose from. It’s either a half day rate, which is up to 4 hours coverage. A full day rate which is up to 8 hours coverage and finally Full day with an evening event. Get in touch with us to find out how much this is. All prices are subject to vat.

Do you have public Liability Insurance?

Yes, we have public liability with Hiscox insurance which is rated at £1 million. If you need a copy of this, just let us know and we will forward it onto you.

What if your camera breaks during the event?

We always carry two cameras, and multiple lenses and shoot images to SD cards on the camera. To make sure that we can guarantee we don’t loose any images from the day. We also invest heavily in out equipment and buy new cameras every year to two years, this is mainly because with the high amount of conference and events we cover we take a lot of pictures throughout a year. Much the same as having high mileage on a car, we always want to ensure we’re working with the newest and best gear for the job.
